Sooooo... this is my final blog post, i want to thank a few people :'( My mother... hi mom, all of the amazing fans out there who have been reading these posts, Justin my teacher for giving us such a fun English assignment, amanda for being a good little girl, Chris for doing an amazing voice-over, Michelle for doing a good moodboard and organization, Tessa for being the support on everything and Jelle for doing a great job on the video montage and delivering the final product.

I've learned a lot this period, for instance, how to act better, working together with people on other things than Art, which is nice by the way, because it gets a lot less intense. I've imroved my AIDA skills, now knowing better than ever to sell something to an audience.
I've been asked tips for improvement, I would say offer a little prize for the best commercial to get the hype train started.

I do still agree with the role I have been given by the Belbin role test, which was 'the plant'.
The plant would be a person who has a lot of creative ideas, but has a hard time keeping the organization together and finds it difficult to deliver. I have been a creative influence in the group, having a good influence on the final product of the commercial, while the organisation was handled by the other folks.

My biggest contribution has been being part of the brainstorm at the beginning and my acting skills which were, as you might have seen, AMAZING 0.o
I have worked a lot together with Amanda, which was a lot of fun, in the first part of the project she had a definite opinion which was nice, and later during the acting stage of the project she took her job seriously.

Anyway, I loved the assignment, it was probably the most fun I had during an English class.
LATER HOMIES!

Final Blogpost Chris

How's it going readers,

For this course of English, we had to make a commercial and learn more about copyright. I personally didn't learn much from making the commercial. I didn't do the video editing, although I do it a lot in my spare time. Where I learned the most from was from all the copyright information we got from the teacher. We got a deeper look in how you can secure your work online.

In the first week, we also had to make a test from which you could transcribe your team role from. Mine was the specialist. I think the role suited me very well in the team. The role stands for a person that get's their job done with pleasure and ease.

My biggest contribution to the team was doing the voice over for the commercial.

The person I'm evaluating is Amanda. She had an important role in the team, as she was one of the actors in the commercial and ran behind everyone's butts if you didn't do your job on time.

I had great fun this period and look forward to new English classes.

Chris.
Hello happy readers
I am very glad to mark the end of this period by posting the last blogpost.

From this course I kind of learned how to use my team role to my advantage, because at first I didnt really know what it meant or how to use it. Though it's also something I'd like to improve on, because now I know that I am a natural leader and people oriented, I wish I could utilize this from now on.

Do I agree with my team role according to the Belbin's role test? Well I do think most of the traits used to describe the roles could be anyone's, but as soon as you test what your role would be it also gives you information about what you could use to your advantage, so yes I do agree with my team role because I'm very bossy and I like to be called leader. haha.

My main contribution to this project would probably be the kicking peoples butt when I felt they needed it, and I was usually right about when they needed it.

I am going to describe my fellow teammate, Chris, who contributed to the team by letting us use his pretty voice for the commercial. Which is copyrighted by the way.
Due to personal issues Chris has been absent a few times, but he did his part and I am happy I got to work with him. He is a funny guy.

Analyse of another group

We choose to analyse the commercial of team Magma. They sell unicorns (wings not included)

Attention - They draw the attention with unicorns (a very popular mythical animal) And because it's                      popular it draws attention.

Interest - The commercial catches your interest because it is presented as a animation, which is not                     very common.

Desire - People want to have it because unicorns are very colorful and sparkly. They give you a                         happy feeling.

Action - The commercial makes you buy an unicorn because it's something everyone wants to have.

We think it's a good commercial.
We got taught how to deliver our message to our target audience. Our target audience is low skilled people, without jobs. The group has decided to take the emotional approach to delivering the message to the audience. The story we've decided to go with includes me being a father to Amanda. I need to buy her something like an ice-cream but I can't, showing I am a bad provider. Then when I go get a job I will be able to buy her an ice-cream and we'll start laughing giving everybody who watches it a little bit of a good feeling.
I'm still excited for this project.
It's Wednesday morning and we just had a lesson, which was supposed to be a guest lesson, but that was not the case.
The group decided to call the group Segers.... which is strange because now everybody is going to think I have a huge ego. It's okay though, because i'm actually kind of excited about the project.
We have also decided to be an employment agency, and I believe we can come up with a very creative commercial. I'm excited to see where this is heading.

Final blog post

I still do agree with my team role. The co-operation with the group was a pleasant experience. The tasks were well distributed. My biggest contribution during the project was making the storyboard and directing the scenes that had to be made during filming.
Everybody did a great job while shooting the commercial!
Niels edited the whole commercial and I think he did an excellent job with that. We made an awful lot of bloopers and he still managed to make it look like a professional commercial.

I mostly liked to go filming and realizing the commercial and I really enjoyed working with this awesome group!
